North American Fundraising

There are two distinct, though closely connected, branches of Shelter Them. Shelter Them-Rwanda is a fully independent grassroots NGO, recognized by the government of Rwanda, whose staff members plan, organize and administer the programs we offer to our beneficiaries.
Shelter Them Poverty Relief, on the other hand, is an organization comprised entirely of volunteers, based in North America, whose primary role is to provide funding for the various programs of Shelter Them-Rwanda. Our common goal is to provide children and vulnerable families with the practical needs of food, shelter, education, and medical care, regardless of their race, religion, ethnicity, or gender. Our only mission is to serve those in need. Together, we currently support a total of 108 children living in 27 homes, spread between Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, and the village of Gateko in Bugesera District.

Our ability to help is a blessing and we join hands with our Rwandan team to bring a brighter future
Shelter Them Poverty Relief in North America is an organization comprised entirely of volunteers, based in North America, whose primary role is to provide funding to keep providing a future for the people helped by Shelter Them-Rwanda. Our common goal is to provide children and vulnerable families with the practical needs of food, shelter, education, and medical care, regardless of their race, religion, ethnicity, or gender. Together we strive to bring a bright future, hope and joy to the hearts of those we help.
Embracing their potential to be self reliant is what we want for them. To see people come from extreme poverty to life full of joy, children succeeding at school and parents now being able to care and feed them is amazing to see. Our vision is to help Shelter Them focus on these are our 3 key areas that we believe has and will continue to help...
